Context
Kian was born out of my attempt to imagine Wyla as a companion. Wyla as a companion would have had to have been born in Halcyon and had a different upbringing/backstory and I felt like this would have affected her feelings and motivations to a point where I didn't feel she would quite be recognizable as the same character. So, Kian is Wyla's descendent if Wyla had boarded the Groundbreaker instead of Hope. Kian became a given name at some point to "pay homage" to the one who brought them to Halcyon in the first place. In this case, Kian is named after her father Norman's middle name. (tbf idk how many generations have grown up in halcyon orz)

Kian's partner Pokemon would be:
- Unfezant ♂: Unfezant are exceptional fliers. The females are known for their stamina, while the males outclass them in terms of speed. This Pokémon is intelligent and intensely proud. People will sit up and take notice if you become the Trainer of one. (Kian definitely raised this baby from a Pidove!! Each follows its Trainer's orders as best it can, but they sometimes fail to understand complicated commands. It's forgetful and not very bright, but many Trainers love it anyway for its friendliness and sincerity.)
